Privacy Policy

THAW is a single-player mobile game published by Computer Generated Reality. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

THAW does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no ads. Your game save stays on your device. THAW does send anonymous gameplay events (for example, when the app starts, a fight finishes, or a chapter unlocks) to Aptabase, a privacy-first analytics service. These events are not linked to your identity and cannot be used to track you across apps or websites.

Data stored on your device

THAW saves your progress (your cell, allocated Evolution Points, unlocked skills, adaptations, campaign position, and similar game state) locally on your device only. This save data is not uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Data we collect

THAW sends the following anonymous information to Aptabase for product improvement:

• App launches and session activity.
• In-game events such as tutorial progress, fights finished, chapters unlocked, evolution milestones reached, stat upgrades, and adaptations purchased.
• Device-level technical data provided by Godot Engine: operating system name/version, device model, locale, and app version. No advertising ID, no IP retention, and no personal identifiers are collected.

Children

THAW is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The analytics data described above is anonymous and not linked to any identity.

Deleting your data

Your save lives on your device, so uninstalling THAW removes it. You can also reset your progress from inside the game. Anonymous analytics data cannot be individually deleted because it is not tied to your identity.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of THAW ever changes what it stores or collects, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
